Anthony Cardamone earned D2Football.com Elite 100 honors it was announced.
Brown, who is a consensus all-american, was a versatile performer on the offensive front for the Lakers and was an integral piece in a GVSU rushing game that led the GLIAC and ranked seventh nationally (247.2 ypg.), while also rushing for over 235 yards in eight games. Brown was adept at both run and pass blocking, evidenced by his 96.3 efficiency rating for the regular season. In addition to earning all-ameica honors, Brown was a finalist for the 2024 Gene Upshaw Award and was named the 2024 GLIAC Offensive Lineman of the Year.
Cardamone, a First-Team All-GLIAC performer, led the team in tackles with 80, while also recording 8.5 tackles for loss (-33) and 4.5 quarterback sack (-26). He tallied nine QB hurries, forced three fumbles and recovered one fumble. Kennelly, who was also a First-Team All-GLIAC honoree, ranked second on the team in tackles with 64, while picking off a career-high three passes.
Grand Valley State finished the 2024 season with an 11-2 record and advanced to the NCAA DII Playoffs for the fourth consecutive year.
