UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The No. 1 Grand Valley State women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw at Saginaw Valley State Friday (Sept. 27) afternoon. The Lakers move to 5-0-2 on the season and 2-0-1 in the GLIAC, while the Cardinals move to 3-3-1 overall, 1-1-1 in the GLIAC.
GVSU dominated in shots 15-1 and 6-0 shots on goal. The Lakers produced eight corner kicks to the Cardinals two.
Taylor Reid led the Lakers with three shots with one on goal.
Emma Chudik and
Kendall Aikens each notched two shots with one on goal, while
Alli French added two shots.
Cailynn Junk got the start and posted her third shutout of the season.

Daan Louwerse, and
Danielle Aitken played all 90 minutes of action.
