Grand Valley State dropped the final game of the weekend series with Parkside by a 13-11 score. The Lakers will be at Northwood Tuesday in a non-league contest, then return home to face Purdue Northwest in a four-game series starting Friday (April 12).

GVSU scored five runs in the bottom of the first on 2-run doubles from Gulbrandsen and Guciardo, followed by a 2-out single from VanEnkevort. The Lakers added a pair of unearned runs in the fourth and scored four in the bottom of the eighth to take an 11-8 lead. Dykstra was hit by a pitch to tie the game and Logan cleared the bases with his seventh double of the year.
Parkside scored runs in each of the first four innings, added another in the top of the sixth and five, four of which were unearned, in the top of the ninth.
