MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Grand Valley State men's basketball team fell 87-76 in the GLIAC Championship to Ferris State Sunday (Mar. 10) afternoon in Marquette, Michigan.
Britain Harris scored a new career high 25 points to lead all scorers. Harris shot 11-18 from the field including two 3-pointers and four rebounds. Harris scored at least 20 points in four of the last five games.
Marius Grazulis scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Grazulis shot 5-11 from the field and dished out three assists.
Mason Docks added 11 points and led the Lakers with five assists.
GVSU shot 44% from the field and 83% from the free throw line. Ferris State shot 52% from the field and 74% from the free throw line. Ferris State outrebounded the Lakers 35-32 but the Lakers grabbed 10 offensive rebounds to the Bulldogs eight.
The Lakers end their season with a 16-15 overall record. GVSU finished with an 11-7 conference mark and finished in fourth place in the GLIAC standings.
