ALLENDALE – The No .17 Grand Valley State women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw at home against Davenport Sunday (Nov. 3) afternoon. The Lakers move to 11-1-4 on the season and 8-1-3 in the GLIAC.
GVSU outshot Davenport 11-5 and 5-1 on goal. GVSU produced six corner kicks to the Panthers four.
Kacy Lauer and Alli Frnch notched two shots with one on goal each while playing in all 90 minutes.
Alex Williams had two shots with one on goal in 82 minutes played.
Abby Winn and
Ryann Fetty added a shot on goal.
Daan Louwerse and
Mackenzie Ford both played all 90 minutes.
Cailynn Junk got the start in goal and made one save, while notching her seventh individual shutout of the season.
GVSU will return home for the final two games of the regular season next week. The Lakers will host Northern Michigan on Thursday (Nov. 7) at 5:00 PM befoe hosting Michigan Tech in the regular season finale on Saturday (Nov. 9) at 1:00 PM.
