CALEDONIA, Mich. – The No. 2 Grand Valley State women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at Davenport Sunday (Oct. 6) afternoon. The Lakers fall to 6-1-3 on the season and 3-1-2 in the GLIAC.
Davenport scored the game-winning goal in the 83
rd minute off a header from the middle of the box. GVSU outshot the Panthers 13-11 and 6-4 on goal. The Lakers produced three corner kicks, while holding Davenport to zero corner kicks.
