Men’s Basketball Falls in Final Exhibition Game at Purdue Wednesday

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Grand Valley State men's basketball team wrapped up their exhibition schedule with a 99-41 loss at No. 15 Purdue Wednesday (Oct. 30) night. The Lakers will begin the regular season next Friday (Nov. 9) when they host Walsh at 2:00 PM.
 
Jalen Charity led the Lakers with 11 points on 4-6 shooting and 2-2 from three-point range. Charity also hauled in four rebounds. Mason Docks notched 10 points, while Trevon Gunter added seven points.
 
Trey Kaufman-Renn led Purdue with a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds on a perfect 7-7 shooting. Fletcher Loyer scored 15 points on 4-9 shooting with three assists, while C.J. Cox notched 15 points on 4-7 shooting. Gicarri Harris and Myles Colvin each added 10 points.
