Men’s Basketball Fall in Exhibition at Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Grand Valley State men's basketball team fell at Nebraska 73-53 Sunday (Oct. 27) afternoon in their second of three exhibition games.
 
Mason Docks led the Lakers with seven points and three assists. Kaden Brown added six points with two made three-pointers and four rebounds. Charles Turner notched six points with two made three-pointers and three rebounds. William Dunn and Javion Otten each added six points. Ethan Alderink led GVSU with 10 rebounds including four offensive rebounds.
 
Gavin Griffiths led Nebraska with 14 points shooting 4-6 from three-point range. Brice Williams notched 13 points with two rebounds and two assists. Juwan Gary added nine points and three assists. Berke Buyuktuncel led the Huskers with 13 rebounds. 
 
GVSU will conclude their exhibition schedule this Wednesday (Oct. 30) when they travel to Purdue to face last year's Division I national runners-up. Tipoff is set for 7:00 PM at Mackey Arena. The game will be streamed live on B1G+. Follow @gvsubasketball on Twitter for live in-game updates.
