BIG RAPIDS—The Grand Valley State men's basketball team lost, 73-69, to Michigan Tech on Saturday evening inside of the Jim Wink Arena.

The Huskies (10-19) shot 16-for-34 from 3-point range to beat the Lakers (18-12). Michigan Tech made back-to-back layups in the final 1:17 of play and the Lakers weren't able to answer.

Marius Grazulis led the way for GVSU, scoring 19 points and was one rebound shy of another double-double, totaling nine rebounds. The Laker captain also added two steals.

Grazulis' nine rebounds led the way for the Lakers and
Trevor Smith led GVSU in assists with seven.
Britain Harris was the only other Laker in double figures with 11 points. He added two rebounds and four assists.

The Lakers lost the battle on the glass, 36-33, and gave up 14 second chance points.Â

The Lakers end their season at 18-12 and finished the year with an 11-7 mark in conference play.
