ALLENDALE – The Grand Valley State men's basketball team is back home for a nonconference matchup against regional opponent Indianapolis Tuesday (Dec. 5) night. Tipoff is set for 6:00pm at the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena.

The Lakers are coming off a week off where they last played against Rochester last week Monday (Nov. 27) in an 86-69 win. GVSU improved to 3-3 on the season and 3-0 at home. The Lakers are averaging 79.5 points per game this season on 46.8% shooting from the field. GVSU is averaging just over seven threes per game on a 37.9% clip.
Rebounding has been key for the Lakers this season. GVSU is averaging 42 per game while holding their opponents to 28.5 per game. The Lakers have hauled in 83 offensive boards on the while only allowing 39 through the first six game.
Marius Grazulis leads the Lakers in scoring averaging 16 points per game while hauling 9.5 rebounds. Grazulis has notched three double-doubles this season including scoring a season 23 points while grabbing a career 19 rebounds in a win against Findlay.
Britain Harris is averaging 12.3 points per game on 42.3% shooting from the field. Harris leads the team with nine steals on the season.
Mason Docks has notched 11.7 points per game off the bench on 46.7% shooting while leading the team with 15 assists. Williams Dunn has scored 1.07 points per game and has notched double digits in scoring in five of the six games.
Indianapolis enters tomorrow's matchup with a 4-4 record and a 2-0 record in the GLVC. The Greyhounds are 0-3 on the season against teams in the GLIAC. This season Indianapolis is averaging 68.5 points per game on 44.2% shooting from the field.
The Greyhounds are led by senior guard Jesse Bingham who is averaging 14.4 points on 46% shooting. Bingham has also been a leader defensively for Indianapolis, leading the team with 16 steals and second with 11 blocks. Junior forward Paul Zilinskas has notched 10.1 points per game 45.5% shooting. Zilinskas has been near perfect from the line shooting 23-24 for a 95.8% clip.
