Tiffin is  3-6 going into the weekend, and before they take on the Lakers Sunday, they have a game against Davenport Saturday afternoon. The Dragons are scoring just 56.1 points a game, led by Savannah Richards' 10.3, as she is the only player in double-figures. Coming into the weekend they have won two straight, taking down Ohio Dominican and Cedarville in GMAC play, and they are .500 in the conference overall. These two teams matched up last season, where GVSU took a 78-50 win, with Nicole Kamin and Droste each scoring 13 points in the win.

In their first season at a Division II school, Thomas More is 6-4, winning four of their previous five contests. Before they play the Lakers on Tuesday, the Saints play Purdue Northwest Sunday afternoon in Hammond. This season, Thomas More has outscored their opponents by almost ten points, averaging over 70 points and allowing just over 60 a game. They are shooting 41.9% from the field and 34.9% from distance. Alex Smith (11.9) and Kelly Brenner (10.0) are both averaging double-figures this season, and they have three others with over nine points per game. This will mark the first ever matchup between these two squads.
