ALLENDALE – The No. 20 Grand Valley State women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw on senior night Friday (Oct. 27) at the GVSU Soccer Field. The Lakers move to 8-2-6 on the season and 6-1-5 in the GLIAC.
GVSU dominated possession and outshot the Rangers 26-5 and 11-1 on goal. The Lakers also produced 11 corner kicks and held Parkside to just one. GVSU notched 14 shots with four on goal in the first half to the Rangers two with none on goal. In the second half, GVSU got off 12 shots with seven on goal and held Parkside to three shots with one on goal.

Taylor Reid led the Lakers with four shots and three on goal in 75 minutes of action. Junior
Hannah Becker notched four shots in 43 minutes, while sophomore
Sophia Morgan got off three shots all on goal in 50 minutes. Senior

Isabel Imes got the start in goal for the Lakers and stopped the only shot she faced.
