DETROIT, Mich. - The Grand Valley State men's tennis team fell to Wayne State in the NCAA Midwest Regional Tournament Tuesday morning (May 10) in Detroit, Michigan. The Lakers finished the season with a 17-6 record.
Wayne State claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. On the singles side,
Tomas Oliveira dropped a 3-6, 2-6 decision at No. 3 singles. Jakc Dausman lost a 3-6, 6-7 decision at No. 5 singles.
Ignacio Morera-Lucas dropped a 2-6, 3-6 decision at No. 6 singles. The Lakers advanced to the Round of 32 for the fourth time in program history.
