Rachel Jacquay tallied 93 assists on the weekend and for her efforts, was named GLIAC South Division Player of the Week. GVSU is currently leading the GLIAC South Division and is in a four-way tie for the top spot in the league with Ferris State, Northern Michigan, and Northwood.

Davenport (4-2) enters the weekend on a four-match win streak after dropping the first two matches of the season with Ashland. The Panthers swept Purdue Northwest and Lake Superior State the past two weekend while only dropping one set in the process. Hayley Kreiger leads the Panthers with 64 kills on the season.
