The Grand Valley State Women's Volleyball Team will travel to Wisconsin Parkside on Saturday, Nov. 13 for their final regular season match before playing in the GLIAC Tournament. The Lakers now stand at 9-4 in the GLIAC and 16-8 overall. GVSU is second in the GLIAC South Division and fourth overall in the GLIAC, giving them an opportunity to potentially host the first game of the GLIAC Tournament.Â
GVSU is second in the GLIAC in kills (1194), assists (1082), and blocks (185) this season. Junior setter Rachel Jacquay is first in the GLIAC in assists with 951 assists this year and junior Sarah Wight is fourth in the GLIAC in blocks per set (0.95).Â
The Lakers will travel to Kenosha, Wis. on Saturday, Nov. 13 to play the Rangers at 3:00 p.m. EST. This will be the second match up of the season between the Lakers and Rangers, as GVSU is looking for their second win over Parkside. The Lakers defeated the Rangers in a 3-0 sweep in GVSU's first home game of the season on Oct. 2.Â
