GVSU Athletics Announces "Think Digital First" Ticketing Initiative

05.29.2020

Grand Valley State athletics will transition to a "Digital First" ticketing initiative for all GVSU athletic ticketed events beginning this fall with the 2020 football season.

GVSU fans have already experienced digital ticketing the past few seasons and with increased safety and convenience in mind, GVSU athletics is encouraging fans to use digital ticketing at all of its venues, as well as for football general parking. The "Digital First" initiative will decrease physical ticket exchanges, along with common ticketing issues such as lost or forgotten tickets, mailing or transit delays.

"We are hopeful that varsity athletics' competitions will occur as scheduled," said GVSU Athletics Director Keri Becker. "We are excited to reintroduce our digital ticketing capabilities as we believe there are several benefits for our fans. Our hope is to limit physical contact between our fans and game day staff as much as possible and an emphasis on digital ticketing will help reach this goal. We want our fans to think to get their tickets digitally first," added Becker.

GVSU ticketing is mobile friendly, which allows fans to keep track of all purchased tickets and access them on any Apple or Android device at the click of a button. Fans who wish to pre-print their ticket(s) on 8.5 x 11 standard paper can select 'Print at Home' and print their tickets at their own convenience.
