HARROGATE, TN. – The Grand Valley State baseball team defeated Ohio Dominican, 7-3, in the rubber match of a three-game series to improve to 2-1 overall on the season. The Lakers will be back in action March 1 vs. Findlay for the first of 12 games at the Russ Matt Invitational in Florida.

Mark Scannell received a no-decision, tossing 5.1 innings and allowing four hits, two runs (one earned), three walks, and striking out three. Senior
Luke Hargis earned the win, pitching 1.2 innings of scoreless relief, while junior
Michael Barno earned the six-out save, recording three strikeouts.
Nelson finished the weekend with a team-high seven hits including a 2-for-5 performance Sunday afternoon. Freshman
