Grand Valley State dropped a 12-3 decision at Wayne State Sunday in the regular season finale. The Lakers, 27-21, will square off versus Davenport Thursday at The PAL Corner Park in Detroit,, Mich. In GLIAC Tournament action.

The Lakers took a 1-0 lead with a run in the top of the first inning when CF
Nolan Anspaugh singled and stole second. LF

Austin LaDoux hit a sac fly to left to plate Anspaugh. Â Wayne State tied the game in the third, but GVSU quickly regained the lead in the top of the fourth with a run. C
Caleb Anspaugh walked and moved up to second on a single by SS
Christian Faust. N. Anspaugh then singled to left to score C. Anspaugh. WSU took the lead for good with four runs in the bottom of the fourth.  GVSU scored a single run in the top of the seventh when N. Anspaugh reached on an error and later scored on a sac fly by 1B
