LAKELAND, Fla. -- Number eight ranked Grand Valley State (0-2) suffered their second loss of the season on Saturday afternoon as they fell 21-2 to the second-ranked Adelphi Panthers in the second game of their weekend trip after falling to defending champions and number one ranked Florida Southern on Thursday night 18-12.
The Panthers were able to jump out to a 2-0 lead before GVSU scored at the 26:02 mark on a goal from Thursday night's leader in goals
Meghan Datema off of an assist from

Abbi O'Neal scored on a free-position goal.
The Lakers return to action on March 6th against #12 Bentley in the first of three games on their Spring Break trip to Maryland. The games will all be played at the US Lacrosse facility in Sparks, Md., just north of Baltimore. GVSUÂ will also face #3 Le Moyne and #20 Pace University in Sparks, Md.
