ALLENDALE, Mich.—The Grand Valley State baseball team suffered a setback in the opening game of its final regular season series against Tiffin at home, dropping the Friday afternoon game by an 18-5 score.
With the loss, the Lakers drop to 29-14-1 on the season, and 20-7 in the GLIAC.

Seth Johnson and
Matt Williams each had three hits and a home run each for GVSU.
Grand Valley State and Tiffin will face off again tomorrow in a nine inning game at GVSU Baseball Field with a 3:00 p.m start, before wrapping up the series with a doubleheader on Sunday, set to start at noon.
