Grand Valley State swept a dual meet Saturday afternoon over Lewis University at the GVSU pool. The Laker  men claimed a 150-81 win, while the women defeated the Flyers 176-53. GVSU will host Northern Michigan Saturday (Oct. 31) at the 11 am in the GVSU pool.
 

GVSU placed first in all 13 events for the women, opening with a win in the 400 medley relay as the team of Meghan Falconer, Emily Gallagher, Kaitlin Cassel and Leonie Van Noort touched in 3:39.02. Sam Postmus won 1000 Free (10:35.61) and the 200 IM (2:08.94), while Leonie Van Noort won the 200 free (1:53.95) and the 200 back (2:06.51). Emily Gallagher touched first in the 50 free (25:02) and Elise Tatchell finished first in the 200 fly (2:11.37). Lara Deibel picked up wins in the 100 free (54.46) and the 200 breast (2:27.17). Caroline Brereton touched first in the 500 free (5:19.70) and Anna Barry finished first on the 1-meter board (256.95). The Lakers also finished first in the 400 free relay as Megan Shaughnessy, Allison Wells, Kathryn Culver and Jenn Priebe touched 3:39.34. 
 

The Laker men won nine events en route to the win. The 400 medley relay team of Giannii Ferrero, Marius Mikalauskas, Gabriel Souza and Danny Abbott hit the wall in 3:26.85. Ferrero recorded a win in the 200 free (1:45.65), while Adam Wise touched first in the 50 free (21.61). Michael Hudson finished first in the 1000 free (9:56.33) and 500 free (4:49.42). Grant Borregard finished first in the 200 IM (1:57.73) and Gabriel Souza recorded a first-place finish in the 100 free (47.24).  Jared Gregory finished first on the 1-meter board (238.88) and Brad Dalrymple finished first on the 3-meter board (237.22). GVSU closed with a win in the 400 free relay as Nick Zacek, Gabriel Souza, Nate Wagner and Ben Walling hit the wall first in 3:13.60).
