ORLANDO, Fla. - The Grand Valley State women's tennis team dominated en route to a 9-0 victory over Montana State-Billings on Friday (Mar. 7) to move to 15-5 overall on the season.
GVSU will have its final match of the spring trip on Saturday (Mar. 8) at 9 a.m., when the Lakers take on Division I Robert Morris.
Lexi Rice picked up victories at the top flight in both singles and doubles, winning 6-3, 6-4 in singles and pairing with Carola Orna to win 8-0 in doubles.
Kali Phillips and Leah Dancz both only dropped one point on the entire day. They won their No. 2 doubles match 8-1 and swept their singles matches in 6-0, 6-0 straight sets, Phillips in the No. 2 flight and Dancz in the No. 3 flight.
