Laker Men Drop 73-60 Decision At Lake Erie College

Box Score The Grand Valley State men's basketball team dropped a 73-60 GLIAC road contest Saturday afternoon at Lake Erie College. GVSU falls to 3-4 overall and 0-2 in league action. 

Lake Erie led 20-16 midway through the first half before going on a 23-12 run to close the first half and take a 43-28 lead into the lockerroom at the half. The Storm hit nine 3-pointers and hit 47.1 percent of their shots from the floor (16-34) in the opening 20 minutes. GVSU was able to pull within 12 points (69-57) on a Myles Miller jumper with 2:45 remaining in the game, but could get no closer. 

Ryan Sabin and Ricky Carbajal led the way with 14 points each for the Lakers. Trevin Alexander scored seven points and pulled down six rebounds, while Myles Miller chipped in eight points and four rebounds.
