Lakers Defeat DePauw 7-2 to Remain Undefeated

Greencastle, Ind. - #15 Grand Valley State moved to 19-0 on the year with a 7-2 victory over DePauw University on Friday (Feb. 25). DePauw, ranked 15th in NCAA Division III by the ITA, took the number one singles and number one doubles matches, but the Lakers swept the rest of the competition to take the win.

Lexi Rice and Niki Shipman were the only Laker to go 2-0 on the day, as Rice won her number four singles flight 6-3, 6-1 and then paired with Shipman in number three doubles for an 8-3 win.
