Laker Men Claim 6-3 Win Over Hope College

Holland, Mich. - Grand Valley State claimed a 6-3 victory over Hope College Tuesday night at the DeWitt Tennis Center in Holland, Mich. GVSU improves to 3-2 overall and will return to action in Orlando, Fla. versus Vincennes University. GVSU will play seven matches on its trip to Florida.

Hope led 2-1 after doubles play, claiming wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles slots. Marc Roesslein claimed a three-set marathon win at No. 1 singles (6-2, 5-7, 7-6 (4)), while Pat Snyder also earned a three-set win (4-6, 6-3, 6-2) at No. 6 singles. Jeff Globerson earned a 6-3, 7-6 (6) win at No. 3 singles, followed by Josh Kazdan's 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 4 singles. Ryan Diebold followed with a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 5 singles for the Lakers.
