Grand Valley State remained unbeaten and picked up a key GLIAC victory on Friday afternoon (Oct. 1), as the Lakers defeated visiting Ferris State, 6-3. GVSU improved to a perfect 7-0 overall and in the conference by winning four singles matches and a pair of doubles contests. The win over the Bulldogs puts FSU at 6-2 overall and in league play. GVSU is at home next Friday (Oct. 8) against Ashland at 3:30 p.m., as the Lakers will play four home matches in three days.
