Great Lakes Regional Round 1

Noblesville, Ind. - Grand Valley State is in fourth with a team score of 295 (+7) after round one at the Great Lakes Regional in Noblesville, Ind. at the Purgatory Golf Course. Ferris State is in first (286), followed by Drury (292) and Indianapolis (293). The second hand final round will take place Monday (Apr. 20) on the 7,217-yard, par 72 course.

Tyler Hering carded a 1-under par 71 (37-34)and is tied for fifth, while Ben Brooks shot an even-par 72 (35-37) and is tied for eighth. Matt Malloure is tied for 16th after shooting a two-over par 74 (37-37), while Matt Johnson and Danny Vaughan both shot six-over par 78's.
