Lakers Finish Fourth At Tusculum Invitational With A 577

Grand Valley State finished fourth at the Tusculum Invitational with a team score of 577. Coker College claimed top honors with a 564, followed by Limestone (570) and Tusculum (574). Grand Valley State will next compete in the Northern Kentucky Invitational March 21 and 22.

Junior Josh Burt (Holt, Mich.) shot a two-under par 69 on day two and finished tied for 13th with a 36-hole total of 144. Junior Matt Malloure (Farmington Hills, Mich./Brother Rice) tallied back-to-back rounds of 72 and also tied for 13th with a 144. freshman Ben Brooks (Cedar Springs, Mich.) and senior Matt Johnson (Haslett, Mich.) both fired 36-hole totals of 146 and finished tied for 20th. Senior Tyler Hering (Muskegon, Mich.) finished tied for 43rd with a 151.
