Tusculum Invitational First Round

Grand Valley State carded a 288 first-round score at the Tusculum Invitational and find themselves fifth among 15 schools participating. Limestone is in first (281), followed by Tusculum (285) and Lincoln Memorial (286). The second and final round is set for Sunday.

Freshman Ben Brooks carded a one-under par 70 with 35's on each nine and is tied for fifth overall. Matt Johnson is tied for 13th after shooting an even par 71, while Matt Malloure is tied for 18th with a one-over par 72. Josh Burt carded a 75 (T-39th) and Tyler Hering is tied for 56th after recording a 78.
