#33 Grand Valley State tallied a 9-0 win over #20 Aquinas on Thursday night. GVSU improves to 18-8 overall, while Aquinas falls to 7-6. The Lakers will wait to find out their seeding and opponent in the Great Lakes Region Tournament. The tournament is slated for the first weekend in May.

At #1 singles, sophomore Lindsay Grimmer defeated Kate Grashorn, 6-4, 2-6, 10-3 and junior Jenna Killips blanked Beth Flick, 6-0, 6-0 at #2 singles. Sophomore Audrey Koopsen knocked off Karri Sandusky, 7-5, 6-0 at #3 singles, while at #4 singles, junior Emily Zellner won, 6-2, 6-1 over Lindsey Skinner. At #5 singles, freshman McCall Monte beat Kelly Magee, 6-2, 6-1 and freshman Whitney Bindus defeated Sarah VanGessel, 6-0, 6-2.

In doubles play, Zellner and Grimmer defeated Skinner and Flick, 8-1 in the #1 slot. At #2 doubles, Koopsen and Monte knocked off Sandusky and Grashorn, 8-4 and Killips and sophomore Jaime Oppenlander won, 8-1 over VanGessel and Magee at #3 doubles.
