#14 Grand Valley State ended the Ferris State Invitational with a 3-0 sweep over Lees-McRae. GVSU improves to 3-1 overall and will host the 2005 Amerihost GVSU Fall Classic on Friday, Sept. 2 and Saturday, Sept. 3.

Junior Megan Helsen recorded a team-high 14 kills, a .542 attack percentage, and nine digs in the win. Senior Tracy Kirk added nine kills, while sophomore Alyson Riley tallied 13 digs.

Senior middle blocker Tracy Kirk and senior middle blocker Lauren Hanson were both named to the 2005 Ferris State Holiday Inn Volleyball Invitational All-Tournament Team.
