Highland Heights, Ky. - Grand Valley State was unable to dig out of a 16 point halftime defecit and dropped a 73-63 decision at Northern Kentucky Wedensday night. Grand Valley State will be at Lewis on Saturday, Nov. 26.

The Lakers fell behind 38-22 after 20 minutes of action and never recovered. GVSU shot just 28 percent in the opening stanza, while the NKU Norse hit a sizzling 53.6 percent from the floor. The second 20 minutes favored the road team as GVSU outscored NKU 41-35, but the 16 point margin at the half was too much to overcome. GVSU hit 58.3 percent in the second half (14-24).

Mike Hall led GVSU with 19 points and nine rebounds, while Jason Jamerson added a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
