Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley defeated Quincy Illinois, 2-1, at Indianapolis on Friday. The Lakers improve their record to 4-0 on the season.

Freshman Katie Rozum scored GVSU's first goal at the 24:10 mark in the first half. Freshman Mirela Tutundzic added the winning goal at 64:30 in the second half. Erin Spika picked up the assist on the second goal.

Both Jessica Schmehl and Melissa Henson saw action as goalkeepers, with Schmehl recording one save and Henson adding four.

The Lakers will play Southern Indiana at Indianapolis on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
