Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valle State defeated Charleston, 3-0, Saturday afternoon and in the process recorded its second consecutive shutout. GVSU is 2-0, while Charleston falls to 0-1.

Junior Jordan Stevenson put the Lakers on the board first in the 17th minute of action with her first goal of the season. Mirela Tunundzik and Tricia Plum each drew the assist. Tutundzic put GVSU 2-0 with her goal in the 24th minute of action in unassisted fashion. Tutundzic added her second goal of the game in the 65th minute after taking a pass from Plum.

Junior goalkeeper Jessica Schmehl picked up the win in goal, recording one save.
