Grand Rapids, Mich. - Senior center Jason Bauer led GVSU (3-2) with 19 points, but it wasn't enough as Hope College (4-0) defeated the Lakers 103-80 in the Select Bank Classic title game Saturday (Nov. 30) in Van Andel Arena.

Hope built a 42-35 lead after 20 minutes of action, but Hope out scored the Lakers 61-45 in the final stanza to claim the win. Jason Bauer led GVSU with 19 points, while freshman Al Mans chipped in with 12, Nate Hinkle 10 and Courtney James nine.

GVSU will host Findlay in a GLIAC contest Monday (Dec. 2) at 8 p.m. in the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena.
