Goodyear was named the GLIAC Men's Swimmer of the Year following the GLIAC Championships where he earned three titles (500, 1000, 1650 free).  The GVSU sophomore broke the GLIAC Championship record in the 1000 free and 1650 free en route to the Lakers' sixth consecutive GLIAC title.
