Grand Valley State sophomore running back Aryuan Cain-Veasey has been named the GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week it was announced by the league office. Cain-Veasey, who rushed for a career-high 200 yards and three touchdowns on just 11 carries in the Lakers' 35-10 season-opening victory over Edinboro, scored on runs of 48, 94 and 29 yards. In addition, he averaged 18.2 yards per carry and his 94 yard TD run was the third longest in program history, while also becoming the 22^ndplayer to reach the 200-yard rushing mark in a single-game. In 2018, Cain-Veasey rushed for 210 yards and one TD on 30 carries.
