Put on the singlet six times in the indoor season, highlighted by a 6.87 60m dash at the GVSU Holiday Open, and a 21.50 200m at GVSU Big Meet, which was his PR until he topped it again in one of his eleven meets in the outdoor season, that being the 20.84 he ran in the GVSU Extra Weekend meet. Such efforts punched him a ticket to the National Championships, along with his spot on the 4x100 relay, which earned him All-American honors with a 5th place finish. Earned Academic All-GLIAC Honors.
