As a Redshirt Senior (2019)
Earned All-GLIAC First Team honors...Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team…One of just five Lakers to start all 61 games…Hit .337 with 67 total hits including seven doubles and a home run while knocking in 18 RBI’s…Drew a team-high 24 walks and posted a team-best .419 on-base percentage while going 19-22 in stolen base attempts – the fourth most in the GLIAC…Also scored 60 runs – the second most in a single season in program history…As a catcher and outfielder, she failed to commit a single error, posting 173 putouts and nine assists for a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage…Tallied 17 multi-hit games which was tied for third most on the team…Posted the second longest hitting streak of the season with a base knock in 12 straight games and held the highest streak for reaching base in a game with 24…Helped the Lakers to an early regional victory over Illinois-Springfield (2/23), going 3-4 with a season and career-high four RBI’s while scoring three runs herself…Scored four runs in a single game against Ashland (3/24) after going 2-4 with two RBI’s…Added another three hit game against Saginaw Valley (4/20), going 304 with a double, an RBI, and two runs scored…Laid down a bunt single to lead off the College World Series elimination game against LIU Post (5/24) before counting as the game-winning run after a homer brought her home a batter later…Tallied five total hits while at the College World Series…Leaves GVSU ranking second in runs scored (173), sacrifice hits (38), games started (222), and at bats (721)…Ranks third in program history with 72 stolen bases and sixth in career hits (247).

Named to GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team…Appeared and started in 10 games before missing the remainder of the season due to an injury…Hit .290 with nine hits, seven runs, a double, six walks, and four RBI…Moved into 10th place in GVSU career history with 33 stolen bases after tallying three stolen bases this season…Scored two runs and walked twice, while adding a hit, RBI, and stolen base against Sioux Falls (Mar. 10)…Went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored against Drury (Mar. 11)…Collected two hits, two runs, an RBI, and a stolen base in 7-0 road win at Purdue Northwest (Mar. 19)…Was 1-for-3, scored a run, and swiped two bases in 6-0 nightcap win over Purdue Northwest (Mar. 19).

High School: Prepped at Shepherd High School under head coaches Jill Chaney and Tracie Lentz…12-year varsity letterwinner, Rhynard played five sports during her freshman year…Totaled a .550 batting average in 2013, with 55 hits, 58 runs, 60 RBI, and 32 stolen bases, earning all-state honorable mention plaudits that year…Also received all-conference, all-district, and all-region honors in 2011 and 2013 with the Bluejays…Injured throughout most of 2012 season, when Shepherd won district title…Hit .497 during freshman season of 2011…Also competed in four years of cross country and track and field, while playing one year each of basketball and volleyball…Participated in Student Council, Business Professionals of America, Science Club, and National Honor Society.
