2015: Appeared in 47 games and made 43 starts (36 in right field, five in left field, two as designated player)…Hit .348 (second-best on the team) with 40 hits, 16 runs, seven doubles, two triples, two homers, and 22 RBI…Two triples led the Lakers and ranked tied for ninth in the GLIAC…Also finished 20th in the conference in on-base percentage (.427), 25th in batting average, and 26th in slugging percentage (.496)…Totaled 10 multi-hit games and six multi-RBI contests…Collected at least one hit in GVSU’s first four games and eight of the team’s openings 10 games, picking up 10 RBI during that early stretch…Went 2-for-2 with a walk, triple, and RBI in 6-0 win over Post (Mar. 3)…Smacked a go-ahead three-run homer in 6-1 victory against Saint Rose (Mar. 5)…Owned a 7-for-9 effort with five doubles and five RBI in three game stretch against Truman State, #21 Indianapolis, and Aquinas (Mar. 7-26)…Went 3-for-3 with a run, two doubles, and three RBI in 8-0 home win over Aquinas (Mar. 26)…Walked in four consecutive games and six of eight contests (Feb. 22 to Mar. 6)…Totaled seven hits in four late season games against Findlay, Hillsdale, and Walsh (Apr. 24 to May 1)…Tallied solo homer at Ferris State (Apr. 18).
2014: Appeared in 36 games and made 24 starts in the outfield and as a designated player…Hit .277 for the year, totaling 18 hits, three doubles, and six RBI…Finished sixth on the team with 20 runs…Went 3-for-4, scored three times, and drove in a pair of runs in 16-3 win over University of Sciences (3/3)…Combined for a 3-for-7 effort at the plate with a pair of runs in doubleheader sweep over then-#14 Wayne State (4/11), an eventual College World Series participant…Tallied 3-for-3 outing with two runs scored and a pair of doubles in 8-3 win at Findlay (4/26)…Recorded five games of two or more hits and five games of at least two runs.
2013: Appeared in 43 games as team's top pinch runner off the bench...Scored a run in 15 different games, including three runs in postseason play...Crossed the plate once in each of the following series: the Midwest Regional Tournament in Allendale, the Midwest Super Regional Tournament in Indianapolis, and the Division II College World Series in Salem, Virginia.
High School: Prepped at East Kentwood High School under head coach Sheri Hoving...Led the Faclons to a regional runner-up finish, an Ottawa-Kent Red Conference championship, and a district title...Earned all-state, all-region, all-district, and all-OK Red Conference awards...A team captain, she garnered academic all-state honors...Played two years of volleyball at East Kentwood...Also participated in Student Council and Symphonic Orchestra...Sister (Katie) played volleyball at GVSU in 2002-03.
