Biography

As a Redshirt-Junior (2022): All-GLIAC second team honoree at catcher, starting all 51 games... Hit .273 with three home runs, 10 doubles and 34 runs driven in while also serving as primary pitch-caller for All-American Hannah Beatus in the circle... Struck out just four times on the year, ranking tenth nationally in toughest to strike out.

As a Redshirt-Sophomore (2021): All-GLIAC honorable mention... Primary catcher and pitch-caller for All-American pitcher Hannah Beatus as the Lakers posted a 1.91 ERA for the season... Played in 45 games, making 44 starts... Recorded 33 hits, including four doubles, with 19 RBI and nine runs scored... Had 10 multi-hit games.

As a Sophomore (2020): **Season canceled early due to COVID-19** Started 14 games, hitting .357 with four RBI and three runs scored... Ended the season on a ten-game hit streak as the Lakers won their last 11 games to go 13-3 before the season was cut short due to COVID-19.

As a Freshman (2019): Named to the All-GLIAC Second Team…Played in 43 games for the Lakers, making 37 starts at catcher…Hit .298 with 31 hits, including five doubles and a triple…Knocked in 13 runs while scoring 10 herself…Slugged .365 and reached base at a .330 clip…Also committed just one error all season compared to 365 putouts and 12 assists…Caught four runners trying to steal throughout the season…Had a huge successful pickoff attempt in the NCAA DII Midwest Super Regional Championship game against Indianapolis (5/17)…Picked a ball out of the dirt and fired behind the runner at first for the second out of the inning to help secure the regional championship with a 4-2 victory over the Greyhounds…Tallied nine multi-hit games throughout the season and two multi-RBI games…Picked up a season and career-high three hits against Parkside (3/27), going a perfect 3-3…Went 2-4 with two runs scored and a pair of RBI’s in a win over Saginaw Valley State (4/4)…Knocked a two-out RBI double in the bottom of the seventh inning of the College World Series Semifinal against Texas A&M Kingsville to bring the Lakers within one run…Tied for 10th in program history with 365 putouts this season. 

High School: Prepped at Coloma High School in Coloma, Mich. under head coach Wendy Goodline…Hit .469 with a .573 on-base percentage as a junior to earn All-State Honorable Mention and All-Conference honors…Earned First Team All-State honors as a sophomore after batting .523 with seven homers and a .623 on-base percentage…Helped guide her team to conference, district, and regional championships in 2017 before falling in the state quarterfinal game…Also lead the Comets to conference and district championships in 2016…Also named all-conference as a freshman while being named the teams’ Defensive Player of the Year.
 
Personal: Daughter of Ronald Wagner and Christine Fox…Was also a four year member of the Coloma volleyball and basketball teams…National Honor Society and Student Council member as well…Enjoys sports, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family…Double majoring in Marketing and Supply Chain Management at GVSU.
