ALLENDALE – The No. 16 Grand Valley State women's soccer team travels to Parkside Friday (Oct. 11) afternoon for a GLIAC matchup against the Rangers. Kickoff is set for 2:00 PM ET in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

GVSU is in second place in the GLIAC with a 3-1-2 record and are 6-1-3 overall. The Lakers tied Purdue Northwest 1-1 at home last weekend and fell 1-0 to Davenport on the road. GVSU on the season has outscored their opponents 12-5 with five shutouts.
GVSU defeated Parkside 3-0 earlier this season in Allendale off goals from three different players. The Lakers notched a season high 39 shots with 13 on goal. GVSU did not allow the Rangers to get a shot on goal and produced 12 corner kicks to Parkside's one.
Emma Chudik leads the Lakers with three goals and seven points on the season. Chudik notched a goal against Parkside this season and has one game-winning goal.
Kennedy Bearden has two goals and one assist for five points this season. Bearden is tied for the team lead with 22 shots and has one game-winning goal.

Cailynn Junk has made 22 saves on the season with three individual shutouts and one combined shutout.
Parkside enters Friday's matchup with a 2-4-3 overall record and a 0-2-3 GLIAC mark. The Rangers are coming off two scoreless draws last weekend against Roosevelt and Purdue Northwest. Parkside has been outscored by their opponents 2-6 this season. Emily Mikkelson has scored a game-winning goal and dished out one assist for three points this season. Ava Rizzitano has scored one goal, while Nadiia Ivanchenko has dished out one assist. Goalkeeper Lola Minic has started in all nine games for the Rangers making 46 saves with five shutouts.
