CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Myles Kerner placed first in shot put at the Lee University Last Chance Meet on Saturday, May 14 putting a personal-best distance of 19.57m. Kerner is now ranked second on the national qualifying list. The Lakers had four first-place finishes in the field at Lee, and set several personal-best times on the track. Hunter Harding placed first in the hammer throw recording a distance of 62.81m. Jacob Urban placed second with a distance of 60.58m. 

Emma Richards placed first in the women's shot put with a distance of 14.90m. In the discus throw, Erika Beistle finished first throwing a distance of 49.35m. Alaina Omonode marked 53.48m in the hammer throw finishing second. 

On the track, Sam Martens competed in 10,000m crossing the finishing line first clocking in a time of 29:44.91. Enael Woldemichael placed second with a season-best time of  30:00.74.  Hannah Becker ran a season-best time of 10:18.31 in the 3000m steeplechase. Natalie Graber placed sixth clocking in a personal-best time of
10:40.10. 

Caelon Harkey ran a personal-best time of 47.07 in the 400m finishing third. Myles Rhodes finished fifth clocking in a personal-best time of 47.47. In the 110m, Makiyah Smallwood placed fourth stopping the clock at 14.31. 

On Thursday, May 12 at the Oakland Last Chance Meet, Elli Kimes placed second in the pole vault clearing the bar at 4.24m. Kassidie Stimmel finished fifth with a personal-best height of 4.04m.
