ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Grand Valley State men's and women's track and field teams finished the weekend's meets with the conclusion of the Wolverine Invitational.
Junior
Nicole Sreenan led the Laker women in the 400m dash with a time of 55.19, good for second place, with
Sarah Beulla (4
th; 58.38) trailing seconds behind her. GVSU was heavily represented in the 200m dash, with Sreenan taking third place in 24.40, while Beulla (12
th; 25.76),
Jessica Eby (14
th; 26.26) and
Angelica Floyd (15
th; 26.59) rounded out the pack.
Senior
Daniel Walker held the top finish for the men with a run of 48.48 seconds in the 400m dash, earning second place.
Alexander Porter (10
th; 1:22.70) and
Jaylen Hasan (12
th; 1:23.57) completed the 600m dash, while
Milton Toliver took 11
th place in the 200m run.
The Lakers return to action on Friday, Jan. 17 in the GVSU Bill Clinger Classic at the Kelly Family Sports Center.
