Final Results
The Grand Valley State men claimed a 151-92 victory over Wisconsin-Milwaukee Friday evening in swimming & diving action, while the Laker women dropped a 151-92 decision. GVSU will host Lewis next Friday at 5 p.m.
The Laker men won the 200 medley relay as Harry Sholaman,
Marius Mikalauskas,
Liam Little adn
JD Ham touched first in 1:34.72.
Michael Hudson won the 1000 free (9:56.38), while
Ben Walling (1:44.07) and
Tim Harris (1:44.48) finished second and third in the 200 free.
Danny Abbott hit the wall first in the 50 free (21.51) and
Grant Borregard finished second in the 200 IM (1:57.24). Borregard added a second in the 200 butterfly (1:59.01). Abbott touched first in the 100 free (46.97) and was followed closely by Walling in second (47.57).
Sholaman recorded a first-place finish in the 200 back (1:53.79), while
Michael Hudson was second in the 500 free (4:49.72).
Marius Mikalauskas led a 1-2 finish in 200 breast, touching in 2:08.83, while Harris was second (2:13.92).Â
GVSU's 400 free relay team of Abbott, Little, Ham and Walling hit the wall first with a time of 3:09.88.Â
Brad Dalrymple recorded first-place finishes on the 1-meter board with a score of 318.07 and the 3-meter board (361.95), while
Jared Gregory was second on the 1-meter (283.65) and 3-meter (285.89).Â
The Laker women tallied a 1-2-3 finish in the 1000 freestyle as
Melina Goebel finished first (10:32.55), followed by
Megan Shaughnessy in second (10:39.89) and
Caroline Brereton in third (10:44.13).
Leonie Van Noort touched first in the 200 free (1:54.19) and
Sam Postmus was first in the 200 IM (2:07.92). Goebel added another first-place finish in the 200 fly (2:10.64). Shaughnessy was second in the 500 free (5:15.54), Postmus third (5:19.65) and Brereton touched fourth (5:20.30). GVSU's 400 free relay team of Van Nort, Goebel,

Jenn Priebe touched second in a time of 3:37.84. The 200 medley relay team of

Emily Gallagher,
Hannah Richard and

Kayla Marquardt finished second on the 1-meter board with a score of 248.17, followed by Jessie Adams in third (237.97). Marquardt added a third on the 3-meter board (246.87).Â
