Men's Tennis Falls to No. 37 Lewis, 8-1

GRANDVILLE, Mich. - The Grand Valley State men's tennis team fell to regional foe No. 37 Lewis, 8-1 on Monday afternoon at the Ramblewood Tennis Club.

The loss drops the Lakers' record to 10-11 on the season heading into their final dual match of the year. GVSU hosts Ferris State in its final GLIAC match before the tournament on Thursday, April 12 at 3 p.m.

Freshman John McDonald was the only GVSU player to pick up a win with a 6-2, 6-2 victory in the No. 6 spot.  In the No. 1 spot, sophomre Andrew Darrell came close to a victory in both sets, but fell to No. 22 Uno Lapimaa, 6-4, 6-4.
