Men's Tennis Picks Up 6-3 Win at Michigan Tech

HOUGHTON, Mich. - The Grand Valley State men's tennis team picked up a 6-3 win at Michigan Tech on Sunday morning at the Gates Tennis Center.  The Lakers are now 2-1 in GLIAC action.

GVSU was able to get two doubles points at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots.  Senior Marc Roesslein and Bryan Hodges won 8-2 in the No. 2 spot, while Josh Kazdan and John McDonald picked up an 8-4 win in No. 3 doubles.

In singles action, the Lakers got wins from all but two spots.  Roesslein won his singles match, 6-0, 6-2 at No. 3, while Hodges also won, 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 4 spot.  Kazdan won 6-4, 6-3, while his doubles partner, McDonald, picked up a 6-4, 6-3 win in No. 6 singles.

The Lakers return to Allendale to face Aquinas on Wednesday, March 21 at 3:30 p.m.
