Lakers Advance in First Round of GLIAC Tournament

Midland, Mich. - The Grand Valley State men's tennis team began their GLIAC Tournament run on Friday (Apr. 15) in Midland and came out on top in their first round match-up with Findlay by a 5-0 score. The Lakers swept all three doubles matches and got singles wins from senior Philipp Claus and junior Josh Kazdan to earn the victory. GVSU will face Wayne State in the GLIAC Semifinals at 4 p.m. on Saturday (Apr. 16). The Lakers defeated Wayne State 5-4 on April 3rd.
