Men's Tennis Completes Another Sweep, 8-1 and 5-4.

Grand Rapids, Mich. - The Laker men's tennis team pushed their winning streak to five straight with two more victories on Saturday (Mar. 19) over Lake Superior State and Aquinas. The Lakers first took down LSSU by an 8-1 score to move to 2-0 on the GLIAC season and then defeated Aquinas in a tight 5-4 match to move their overall record to 7-8 on the year. GVSU is back in action on Friday, March 25th when they take on Findlay and Davenport in a doubleheader that starts at noon at Riverview Racket Club.

Philipp Claus went 4-0 on the day, taking both of his #2 singles flights and teaming with Andrew Darrell to win both #2 doubles matches as well. Darrell also went undefeated on the day, winning both of his #3 singles flights.
