Men's Tennis Suffers Close Loss to Lewis

Lockport, Ill. - The Grand Valley State men's tennis team lost a close match to Lewis on Saturday (Feb. 19), dropping a 5-4 decision to the #7 team in the midwest region. Philipp Claus won his #2 singles match and Andrew Darrell won his #4 singles match by a 7-6 (5-0), 6-2 score. The two then paired up to claim victory in their #2 doubles match by an 8-1 score.

The Lakers drop to 1-2 on the season in dual matches and will be in action again on Friday (Feb. 25) when they take on DePauw in Greencastle, Ind.
